Kamishima
History
Emergency coastal minelayers for late-war needs (Maru Sen Programme 1945, for mining straits after the loss of much of the fleet). Of nine planned units, only two were completed; the remaining seven hulls were cancelled or never completed (one reportedly to be named “Hikoshima”).
