Katori
History
Designed as training cruisers (練習巡洋艦) for cadets, not as regular fleet light cruisers. Kashihara was ordered but cancelled before completion. Not to be confused with the same-named Katori-class pre-dreadnought battleships (1906), which were also named “Katori” and “Kashima”.
