Kinesaki
History
Fresh-provisions supply ships (reefers), styled to resemble fishing trawlers to attract less attention. Four units built, seven further planned units cancelled. Kinesaki herself was originally laid down as “Auxiliary Ship No. 4006,” then renamed “Nanshin,” and finally “Kinesaki” in 1942.
